Project Overview

Floe is a concept tea atelier environment designed to merge minimal architecture with brand storytelling. The space reimagines the atelier as a fluid experience, and open spatial design invite both community and calm. Inspired by the movement of water and the clarity of ice, the concept blends functionality with an atmosphere of lightness and elegance.

Objective

The objective of Floe was to design more than an atelier. The project sought to merge brand storytelling with spatial design, creating a place that feels functional and atmospheric. By using bold blue accents as a visual anchor and balancing them with natural wood and soft neutrals, the intent was to create a sense of contrast and harmony.

Floe was envisioned as a community hub and a moment of pause, where design elements guide the movement and mood. The objective extended beyond aesthetics into the realm of experience design — ensuring that every detail, from layout to signage, communicates the brand’s voice and transforms a simple visit into a memorable interaction.

The goal was to develop a cohesive brand and spatial identity that expressed clarity, balance, and rhythm. Beyond serving as an atelier, Floe was envisioned to communicate the brand's personality through the design.

Scope of Work

  • 3D Visualization & Concept Design: Developed the overall architectural concept and rendered visualizations to explore light, material, and form.

  • Interior Layout & Atmosphere: Designed seating arrangements, circulation, and focal points to enhance user experience.

  • Material & Color Study: Integrated bold blue accents with natural wood and soft neutrals for balance and identity.

  • Brand Integration: Applied the Floe brand language across signage, menu boards, and environmental graphics.

  • Experiential Narrative: Ensured the tea experience feels fluid — from outdoor seating to interior interaction.

Outcome

Through visualization, Floe demonstrates how a strong spatial narrative can elevate a brand, transforming a tea atelier into more than a service environment. Inevitably, it becomes a stage for interaction, and memory. The project showcases the potential of design to strike a balance between aesthetic clarity and experiential depth, offering a blueprint for future brand-centered spaces.
